"Chew on Things" by Iris Bell
As a dog lover of the subtitle of the book occurred to me, and even more so that the words of wisdom to be "told" the author, Dr. Iris Bell. To know that dogs are very smart, I was thrilled to read this book.
In the preface says Casey B. worrywart, dogtor the philosophy that he regards himself as a "soulful guy" and wants to share what he was doing as he has just learned, worries, thoughts and things. The author qualifies Casey, a special dog. He wasan eccentric Wheaten Terrier, which at 14 ½ years old, was what a real friend lived. Well, Bell shares Casey's philosophy with the reading public.
The book begins with a short sentence based on Casey as a puppy and is nervous. He says: "Mum [Iris Bell] had to help me wash my fears about the rock gradually in the narrow bed of rocks that went into the middle of our yard. I finally felt safe enough on all the yard run. But youcan not run free, until you can wash on the right, over hurdles …. Important lesson: 1). Life has hurdles – make it as scary as needed, so you have to overcome something important, but … 2) Do not eat your way through them. "Well, that's a smart puppy, this is only the beginning. The rest of the book is clever, touching, and even some funny, quotes from Casey. And on the opposite side is a picture of Casey.
"Chew on things – it helps You Think" is a greatTo give illustrated book or a book, a friend and, of course, a dog lover. Casey is a metaphor for one's life and words of wisdom that come from him, to remind us that life can be a joy, and he says "Do not you all stop as soon as your sights where you want to go have set. "
